Currently, with the house + property underfloor heating etc., we are already at 200,000 euros. Costs for the outdoor area are not yet included. We now know that we should budget more money for the house. We just have to slowly get used to the idea. You don’t make the decision overnight. And consider all possibilities..

Maybe you misunderstood me: €200,000 ONLY for the house - WITHOUT land, incidental construction costs, outdoor facilities, etc

Building in MV is not as expensive as in Bavaria...
Even we in Lower Saxony can build a high standard for under 200,000.

@ donna, you can't get a house for 100,000. Take the midpoint at 200,000 - with 150,000 you can probably build something larger than 100 sqm in MV with some modesty.
With our Heinz von Heiden there are savings packages -> promotional houses. Everything that is not included in the price, you have to pay for somehow. What is paid for is listed below.

I greet you,

I strongly assume that I would have also read something in the individual forums, but I wanted to lay out our line of thought. Thank you very much in advance for your time.

Financing + Kfw 70!

Our preferred bank has confirmed the financing. However, we are still missing the kfw70. We are now constantly discussing the further procedure.

The plot has been surveyed and the documents are now with the cadastral office. The property owner informed us that the processing time is about 1 month? We were then advised to simultaneously obtain the "site plan" from the surveying office, have the house measured, and create the soil report. As soon as we have the soil report and there are no serious reasons not to buy the plot, we could get started..

So now the architect would come into play, who would check the house for the standard Kfw 70. And only then can the kfw 70 loan be applied for?

Is our assumption about the procedure correct or do you see it differently?

Many thanks for opinions and tips!

Did I understand correctly that the property does not belong to you yet? Then I would put all cost drivers on hold for now - keyword odd-toed ungulates and pharmaceutical sales outlets. ;-)

We signed the entire KFW loan topic when applying for the regular annuity loan. If I remember correctly, we submitted or subsequently submitted the architect's proof that the house was to become KFW 70 in that context. However, we did not need to finance the land and were already advanced in the planning when we signed the loan agreements. We submitted the confirmation that the house actually became KFW 70 to the bank after the house was completed.
