Then you shouldn't build at all, but rather stay with the existing structure and renovate. What you leave behind in construction you won't get back with any system... You have to do the math. Saying flat rate that 40+ or something else costs extra, which can be saved, is not enough.
You are right, but in my earlier response there is unfortunately a reason and we don't even know the actual condition of the house. It is all basically self-built. We just want to be prepared and have plan A, B, and preferably C in reserve.
Unfortunately, it's not that simple. It already starts with the fact that the requirements for the basement rooms in my opinion must also meet the current energy saving regulation requirements. So if you build kfw 40, the basement must accordingly also be built to that standard. If you only use them as utility rooms, I'm not quite sure right now.
A utility basement would be absolutely sufficient. The question would then be whether that is even possible within the budget if it is allowed. The house also does not have to be fully basemented.
