Hello dear home builders,

we are currently considering installing our water outlets at the sink like spring water and not as usual in the form of a fine-bubbled jet. Has anyone installed such a system (i.e., spring water-like) and can share from experience whether this has any disadvantages or becomes annoying in everyday use (brushing teeth, washing hands, etc.), for example if the water splashes too much. I would be happy to hear about your experiences.

The outlet should look like the following (maybe someone even has it?!):

Best regards,

Merlin

hello, I have such a water outlet with LED lighting ... had to have it. I had it installed by a professional when he also set up my washbasin "crescendo". He didn’t turn the water pressure all the way up, but only so that the water jet never extends beyond the basin itself, yet the lighting still works. The lighting is powered by the water. So far, I am very happy with it. However, we also have very soft water. I’m not sure how limescale might affect it with harder water. I also hadn’t really thought about whether using no added air consumes more water. Maybe interesting for someone? best regards

I only used it once in a hotel, and I liked it very much there too. It didn’t splash at all. It was pleasant to use. Only because of the price did I decide against it again :)

I have seen such chatter marks in the commercial sector more often, and the discharge was always very green where the coating had peeled off.

It just caught my attention, but I have no idea how old the fittings were each time.

Do you still remember which hotel it was? Was it really the same model or just a similar one?
