The roof sealing belongs inside the pipe and not the other way around.
Well, that was still during the construction phase. The first layer is a bitumen coating on which bitumen sheets were applied, then comes a separating fleece and subsequently the light gray PVC sealing mats. The latter also go into the pipe due to the system design. The roof spout is a prefabricated part with a PVC rosette, which was connected to the PVC sheets using a hot-air process. So I think the sealing was done very properly, and now no water runs past it anymore. However, I agree that although the amount of water is reduced by the mentioned measure, if the sheets are not glued, a small amount of water remains between the rubber membrane and the PVC sheet. And this probably never evaporates again.
Alright, I will try my luck once more and ask if he could set the spout 2 cm lower.
