Hello everyone,
I am new here and would like to introduce myself briefly: 63 years old from NRW and a DIY enthusiast for many, many years, although unfortunately I have never learned a trade myself.
At the moment, I am wallpapering the rooms in my son's new house with painter's fleece.... the first time for me.
Now the stairwell is next, and the installed staircase (see pictures) presents me with a difficult task. The steps are each attached to the wall to be wallpapered with two brackets. The fittings have a diameter of about 15 mm, and a rosette is slid over them. The steps are about 4 cm away from the wall.
My question is, how do I best wallpaper there with the 75 cm wide painter's fleece? I don't think I can cut the strips in such a way that I could wallpaper over 3 fittings at once?????
Does anyone from the forum have a tip for me?
Regards, Curt
