Wallpaper in the attic - Which areas?

I'm asking around how you handled taping/painting the 0.5.

I would also appreciate some pictures to see how it visually works. I'm a bit unsure how something like that fits best. Ceiling white up to the start of the slope, or the slope also white up to the start of the knee wall, or even down there in white and only the vertical walls get (non-woven wallpaper).

Or for example everything white and only one "main wall" gets a coat of paint/(patterned) wallpaper.

What would also interest me is how you designed the staircase (with a 1/4 turn staircase). So everything in one hallway, staircase up to the top, or at the top the corridor the same or as a boundary only the stairwell and from the horizontal stair railing at the top something different in color/wallpaper to bring a bit of variety...

Show walls or accents I personally mostly make on straight wall panels. More often on end walls. Maybe try clay/clay paint sometime, maybe also with a bit of straw or glitter in it, whatever suits you. Every year there are more putty techniques that are easier to execute. If it needs to be quicker, a fancy wallpaper with a divisible underlayer. Knee wall panels I find color-wise restrained and in light colors or with built-in cupboards discreet and functional. For me, knee walls get the same color as the slopes above them.

In our new house we only have three accent walls left. With just one wall instead of a whole room, the price of the wall covering is pleasantly negligible.
