Good morning everyone,

I have laid vinyl flooring in our house.

Brand parador
Subfloor is seltibloc

The subfloor is screed. Since we combined 3 rooms into one large room, there was a transition at the old walls.
I leveled this transition extensively with leveling compound. There is a minimal incline, but it spreads over about 3 meters.

Yesterday I noticed that the installed click vinyl is pushing against each other at the short sides and warping. However, this happens where the floor is even and no subfloor treatment was done by me.
At the edges and cutouts at corners, I always left at least 5mm of space. You can also clearly see that there is air everywhere and it does not touch anywhere.

The waves also partly appear in the middle of the room.

The entire floor has a length of 10 meters and a width of 9 meters. The floor was installed completely without joints, as according to the manufacturer a joint is only necessary from 11 meters.

The floor warps both in places with no weight (empty room) and where furniture stands, e.g. kitchen.

This morning it was already not as bad as last night, but you can see it is wavy in some places. In others, absolutely not.

The flooring was stored at room temperature for 4 days before installation.
It was installed about 8 weeks ago.

I hope you can help me.

Thank you in advance.

The floor expands and bulges upwards. It cannot use the space at the edge due to friction, heavy furniture, etc. Expansion joints would be a solution here. Therefore, I would always glue down vinyl.

Did this happen because of the heat and will it go back, or will it stay warped now? The floor is already completely installed. Can I still do something about it afterwards?

Expansion joints can also be installed afterwards. Just post a photo of the room.
