Because I am renovating an existing property and not building a new one, I unfortunately have to adapt to the existing conditions. This unfortunately leads to the fact that in my 1.15m wide shower only a 1m wide shower channel can be installed (due to the position of the drain pipe).
Since the build-up height of the floor is also limited, I have decided to use the Schlüter KERDI system:
Channel: KLVO 50 GSE 100
Slope board: KSLT 1365/200S
How does the missing slope on the left and right (red arrows) (each about 7.5cm) of the channel affect things?
Are these a problem?
The slope board from Schlüter (KSLT 1365/200S) has only a slope of 1.25%. Unfortunately, those with 2% are too small for my shower (220cm x 115cm).
Does this smaller slope pose a problem?
