Ventilation system - Noise level dependent on which factors?

Now a really stupid question. Do I have contact with the heating technician before the house is built? I ask because the shafts for ventilation should surely already be considered when the walls are assembled in the builder’s hall, shouldn’t they?

To make it quieter, for example, if that were possible through minor measures (additional costs).

I have already been active there too, but unfortunately there isn’t much input on both systems, except that Zehnder is supposedly better (but I don’t know that either).

That sounds great!! Thanks for the comment!

I assume you mean Viessmann, right?

The devices themselves are also very simple. A motor, a fan wheel, a few bearings (often the problem), a heat exchanger. Therefore, there is little potential for optimization. Just google "bearing damage" on the topic, unfortunately you will probably find it with every provider, and if it happens to you, it really gets loud. Otherwise, it depends more on the planning than on the device.

Yes, correct. F.Haus works very frequently with them because V. is located in the neighboring town of F. And no, we don't have a house from F. After initial discussions, we walked away from there.

Okay, thanks to you too!

Such a bearing damage sounds unpleasant, but I think it is easier to fix than a planning error of the system throughout the house.

So also interesting to know... Are Zehnder systems less sensitive in these matters?

We also don’t plan with F.Haus, as I said, only the ventilation was extremely noticeable here, I attached a picture of their technology from the mentioned show house. I believe this is the heating with integrated ventilation and not from V.

That's right, that is not V. And the beverage crate shows me that you also did not visit the show home exhibition at the F.H. company headquarters, but were traveling in the south of the country. Here in central Hesse, F.H. and V. have a very good reputation. In their rather structurally weak region a bit further north, they are among the largest employers. And at least from V. I know that they are not only very active as sponsors in winter sports but also very socially engaged.
