Hi,

I don't like to consult a construction blog when it comes to physical fundamentals. Can you link a decentralized controlled residential ventilation system whose heat recovery unit operates with a heat recovery efficiency of 0.9? If the datasheet exists, I will gladly revise my opinion.

Oh wow, now the source is not good enough for a forum discussion ... 90% is normal when you look at the datasheets and no one here talked about decentralized. These things are in my opinion just a sham anyway and I also don’t really understand why anyone would buy a central system without a bypass. Controlled residential ventilation is supposed to provide comfort after all, even a manual bypass would be unacceptable for me

I am of course talking about a central system. This is about new construction, right?

You are welcome to keep your opinion to yourself; I was only concerned here with explaining the physical principles for those who are interested. Some time ago, I calculated everything myself about how controlled residential ventilation, heat capacity, heating and cooling capacities, cooling through underfloor heating, heating through radiation, shading, etc. work – and the calculation above is a small excerpt.

Grym, what does your current concept look like? In my mind, I have aerated concrete and gas, right?

I didn’t find any datasheet showing 90% at a glance. Why start a discussion based on half-knowledge when it can be done physically correctly? And of course the OP was talking about a decentralized system. Whatever, I don’t expect much else from you than opinions and views. Someone who pays so little attention to sound knowledge naturally prefers to consult layperson blogs.

Poorly researched.

Then dig up the expertise of Prof. Dr. Someone Else. It would enrich us all.

Aha. Nowhere does it say so. On the contrary, the OP spoke of “the system,”

And from you I only know online Tourette.

You’ve already made your decision. Where does the passion come from? Grym’s source isn’t impeccable either, the fool is happy thanks to KNX about some pennies of electricity savings thanks to his clever control of the controlled living room ventilation. If he had taken one with heat recovery, that would be a negligible issue and he would have saved a good number of drilling meters. So what? And you can say whatever you want about Grym, he does like to waver, but he deals with the subject matter and doesn’t seem stupid either, can also present things simply. Considering that you deliberately and consciously decided against controlled living room ventilation, I wonder what your contribution to this thread here could be.
