I’m afraid fixed price means fixed price. But maybe you’re lucky and your builder will pass on the reduction anyway – it could be that there is uncertainty and people prefer to avoid trouble. I can well imagine that there are some cases with similar contracts and that some affected parties will have the whole thing reviewed in court. Possibly some contractors want to avoid such a lawsuit.

That would be a bit bitter, because we insisted on the clause.

Indeed. Is there a clause regarding VAT?

We will sign later and the VAT clause was last minute adjusted to "VAT changes" instead of "increased".

Even more important would be the adjustment to partial acceptance at the end of December. If you even want such a partial acceptance, because then the warranty for the parts already starts running.

Yes, it says so. I have also taken that from the 3 (?) threads here in the forum. The point is also very justified with all the trades that have to work hand in hand. 1/3 accepted, 2/3 not, something doesn't fit – who is to blame? It's stated for now, and we'll see exactly how the invoices are issued. The shell construction should be completed by the end of the year – so it's about interesting sums.

No, there isn't.

However, your old clause would probably have been void anyway because it disproportionately disadvantaged you.
