Yes well, that's what I meant too, it is different in every federal state, so you can't say a flat rate!

Hello.

First of all, thank you very much, well then I have to see how I do it, I had considered converting or expanding this bungalow, since as far as I know asbestos is only harmful if you cut into it! But I assume that if you completely rebuild such a thing around us, you might as well build new soon. At least 50 sqm would have to be added.

What still interests me about measuring, is it worth looking for cheap companies or are the prices always the same? Or what can one do in advance by oneself to maybe save something here. Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards

Asbestos becomes porous with age and the individual flying fibers are already carcinogenic, not only when cutting or demolishing.

For surveying, there is a specific price catalog that all publicly appointed surveyors must adhere to, therefore the prices are generally always relatively similar; you can of course compare, but you will not be able to detect large price differences. Ultimately, you cannot prepare much, except if you can clear all the old and new property corners, which makes the surveyor’s work on site much easier and saves time.

Please also note that you need a notary for a property purchase and everything must be registered in the land register, and you must subsequently pay the real estate transfer tax. Notary; registration and real estate transfer tax are always approximately 5% of the purchase price, but if you receive the property as a gift, usually a market value is determined.

@blurboy

Thank you very much for the detailed information! Well, you haven't even really started yet and already have to deal with authorities.

Best regards

No fear of the asbestos in the panels, it is bound by the lichens, you just must not sweep, pressure wash, drill, saw, etc. If you absolutely want to coat it, you must not perform the previous steps, only collecting is allowed. Asbestos fibers are constantly flying through the air even without our interference. So calmly leave the asbestos on it, there is neither a scientific nor legal basis to remove or coat asbestos from the roof. Just don't be scared. If anyone has a B55 to give away, I would gladly take it.

Hello everyone, I am currently facing the same situation. A B55 bungalow must be demolished from the newly acquired property. If someone is interested in taking it for free (meaning dismantling and removal at their own expense), they are welcome to contact me. Otherwise, it will end up at the landfill. Best regards.
