Believe me, if that's a hobby, you can treat yourself to something like that sometimes

However, we can only deal with the quality class of household appliances again after the repayment is completed

But it must never ever break for the price...

Exactly hobby, which I am currently pursuing (the wife needs to be spared) and that's why it concerns me immediately So far we don't have the installment yet, but of course I think that doesn't lessen the enormous price. Then there is a lack of equity

That's of course something else.. actually the thing should last at least 20 years.

Regarding the prices of the bags (6 pcs 20€). Hmm... you become dependent again and have to keep buying and buying. Calculated over time... with the current AEG I just empty the basket and clean the filter with the compressor and that's it.

well, that's pessimistic, we just bought a dryer from Miele for almost 1000€.

however, a 1200€ vacuum cleaner is by no means necessary. that's just wasted money and mostly some kind of commissions (principle at Vorwerk). a top vacuum cleaner doesn't have to cost more than 200€, with a bit more gadgets and accessories it really ends at 300€. handheld vacuum cleaners are also relatively cumbersome and heavy, you have to know if you really want something like that. quickly vacuuming the sofa corners is not easy.

we have a Makita cordless vacuum. the suction power is crap, but totally sufficient for a few fluff and dirt during the week.
for our house we bought a cheap model from Miele (S8340). its suction power is completely over the top and "regularly" sucks up too much (just now the fabric coasters while vacuuming ^^ ). my first vacuum where you have to reduce the power, otherwise the big floor vacuum sticks to the tiles. I found 170€ a fair purchase price. for a few euros more there was also a value pack with original bags including then a 5-year warranty.

Among other things, we have also been using the aforementioned Vorwerk vacuum mop for 3 months. For 1300 euros, you get a lot more accessories than just the mop foot part. The e-brush should also be included, the dusting brush, and a lot of plastic attachments (for whatever purposes).

After 3 months of use on about 80 square meters, the bag is by no means full. I would estimate maybe half full, despite having cats. So at least with the bags, you really get a long way, because they hold 4? liters. It doesn't make sense to talk about spending over 20 euros for a few bags.

Ok, that is of course quite a statement , but that’s exactly why we’re having this conversation

Yes, in the set we saw at the trade fair, there was a pure suction unit as well as the suction-mopping unit, this e-brush, and also a starter set of bags, etc. However, I didn’t have it calculated in detail since I didn’t want to commit immediately at the fair despite the €150 discount.

Do you have the handheld vacuum cleaner or the version with the suction unit to drive behind it?

Best regards, Andi
