Until when must construction power be taken?

We have only just applied for it now, and implementation is only possible from 23.1. Even then, the work will take up to 14 days. We expect the building permit to arrive any day now, and in about a week the earthworks should begin.

Are you seriously planning to start the excavation this year? No concerns about frost / foundation slab?

Every morning I get the cold sh... when I see the weather and its forecast. We were actually told "excavation this week," but I no longer expect anything to happen this year. At least the batter boards are already set up [emoji6] Construction site: Middle Franconia... -> snow and below zero degrees next week, and nothing will probably happen from the week before Christmas until the end of week 1 anyway...

NRW is different. Our architects said that last winter there were probably 4-5 days when no construction took place. Interior plastering apparently doesn't work below 5 degrees. Around 0 degrees, no ground work is prevented; it would have to be frozen solid, which is rare here.

By the way, without construction power they wouldn’t have started here at all. With water you have more time than with electricity. 400€ for everything would be a bargain. But also prepare for a bill from the grid operator, who wants about 400€ for the construction power too. Greetings

Well, but would you agree if I claimed that the necessity of yet another LAN socket and overpriced induction stove (what is the standard for overpriced) is rather subjective, but a bluntly idle, _unused_ E-charging station also objectively burns money?

I would start with the obvious, namely the latter, by reducing costs, because I have absolutely nothing from that later on. The LAN socket could well have added value, and so could the induction stove – even if it’s “only” the joy of daily use.
