Type of use in the land register. Holiday home rentable or not?

Suppose you buy a plot of land for which the use type in the land register is indicated as "WALD". And on this plot there is a small cabin that you would sometimes like to rent out briefly when you are not using it yourself.

Does the use type determine whether a plot/building may be rented out?

If yes, which use types allow renting?

Or is there something like a "use type for the building" that then determines whether the building may be rented? So if it is a "hunting lodge" (wherever that is recorded), would you then be allowed to rent it out, or does the designation as "hunting lodge" alone exclude renting?

I am currently trying to make my way through this jungle and am grateful for any support.

How many plots and confusing questions do you actually have?

This is merely an example to understand the rules. I do not have a WALD property nor do I have one in prospect. However, an answer would help apply the logic to other questions and thus respond.

You have already received the answer to the question regarding the outer area. If WALD is registered in the land register, you are in the middle of nowhere and thousands of trees actually grow there, you can assume that you are indeed in a forest and not in a city with building plots. That sounds like an outer area again, and there, building plots are not allowed for residential development. If there is a hut there, there will be a reason why it is allowed to stand there. However, it will not be a normal residential house. And therefore, renting it out should also not be an option – regardless of the fact that you – no matter what kind of absurd ideas you pursue, I do not at least understand your intentions in all the threads – would also have to define a target group that occasionally wants to stay overnight in the middle of nowhere. What exactly drives you? Troll or what are the background reasons?

Forest would clearly be an outdoor area, and a permit for a hut for hunting purposes would clearly lose its basis for exemption with the change of use to a holiday home. A prohibition of use would be the consequence.

There is a nice documentary on YouTube about such a case. Someone bought a forest plot by the Müritz, "expanded" the wooden forest hut (for rental, afterwards it looked like a small single-family house), and built a jetty. After 7 years of legal dispute with the building authority, he had to dismantle everything because he simply did not want to understand that you are not allowed to do such a thing under the given conditions.
