Tunnel chimney/view-through chimney independent of room air

Hello everyone,

we are currently building our single-family house with Massivhaus Mittelrhein.

At the moment, we are looking for a tunnel fireplace/see-through fireplace that serves as a room divider. It should be a room-air-independent fireplace.

Are there any recommendations here? The selection online seems rather limited to me or I am looking in the wrong place...

what exactly do you mean by chimney? A wood-burning stove or rather a 'built' chimney? I have a masonry heater with a combustion chamber from the company OfenInovativ. They also have combustion chambers in tunnel form (opposite glass panels).

My stove has 7m of ceramic flues and additionally a water jacket that serves the buffer storage. This way, you can also enjoy the 'ambience' of a fire on warmer days without overheating the house too much.

It is installed between the kitchen/dining area and the living room as a room divider, and you can warm your back from both sides.

Look at Brunner... very beautiful fireplaces. We used them as well. But beware: The models with 2 or 3 panes always have a high heating output, actually only suitable for as open a construction of the entire house as possible...
