Trench collector brine-water heat pump or air-water heat pump?

We will start laying the collector on Thursday. I will then report how laborious it was.

So, are there any findings yet?

In the meantime, we are leaning back towards a ground-source heat pump – we have now requested 3 offers – I'm curious. A well driller said 875 net per kW – so about €8,000 for us – just for the drilling and probe.

Per kW? Drilling meters are usually billed...?

Our drilling company also created the invoice based on 7.80 kW. It is clear that this ultimately results in a certain number of drilling meters.

€570 + VAT per kW was charged in our case.

I'm just surprised because every ground offers different extraction capacity - also the question of how many drillings.

We will only aim for one drilling and currently expect 140 m, but still have to wait for the heating load calculation.

With the BAFA bonus, the brine drilling really is worth it.

570 € is cheap though - or of course it depends on your floor

I assume that this is only for drilling - there are still some additional incidental costs to come

Basically, it went better than expected; whether it works, I will know when the house is built. However, the experience reports from other trench builders are so positive that I am optimistic it will work for me too.
