With your demands, you are very far from 2,000€ / sqm.

I also find the general exclusion of DIY store products nonsense, because there you ultimately find the entire product range from junk to high-quality products. The problem is that the wholesale trade does not serve you as an individual.

When was the last time you went to OBI and looked at what a sqm of real wood parquet costs? If that standard is not enough for you. Phew?

OBI because I don't know their cheap brands.. I am aware that well-known brands are also represented. I know what wood costs because I have a carpenter in the family. Whoever lays 15€ laminate at home, sorry but I don't build for that. That might be a matter of opinion. But in my opinion, it also makes no sense to say that, that completely blows the budget. Even if the sqm floor then costs 50 euros, I saved the craftsmen's costs for laying it.

Others build as a retirement provision, for a view of the greenery, a dog-poop-free garden for the children, escape from noisy neighbors/street noise/... and other unimportant stuff. But without parquet... no, then I would also leave it.

To get a sense of annual price increases: an acquaintance saved a good €16,000 because she signed the contract with Team Massivhaus already in June/July. Shortly thereafter, there was the annual price increase, this year the mentioned €16,000 (which actually corresponds to almost the 10% price increase mentioned here) for the exact same house. Completely insane.

Wrong! In some areas, I just want to have something proper so I don’t have to renovate again after 5 years because I’m annoyed by poor quality.
But to claim you build only for that reason is nonsense.
