Hello everyone,

Some time ago we had a pool built and after we set the [pool surround] we noticed that the stones of the [pool surround] were not laid plumb. Over 2 meters the height difference is 2cm or more. It looks visually terrible and the construction company says it is absolutely within the tolerance of the German standard and therefore it is not a defect. Can someone help me and tell me whether this is indeed within tolerance or if I am being fooled here. Thanks in advance.
Regards

Photo?

There is only a 1% slope. I don’t think that can be considered a defect.

And where are the pictures showing how terrible it is? As a construction contractor, I probably wouldn’t let myself be blamed either...

Write down the dimensions and the exact defect. Is the black border also from the contractor? Does the cover simply have a slope or does it go up and down?

The long side is 9 meters long. It is a wave. It starts flush on the left and right and then goes in waves over the entire length. On the opposite side everything is plumb and flush. The border is completely plumb and that is why the difference is visible.
At a price of over 70k EUR, something like this should not occur in my opinion.
