Hello,
I am also currently struggling with the bathroom planning. We have a similar bathroom layout.
I would make the window with a parapet, not floor-to-ceiling. On the one hand, your other windows also have parapets, on the other hand, you sometimes walk around naked, so the parapet does provide some protection. Even if there are blinds, it is cozier.
I don’t understand your 1.26 between the child’s room and the bathroom. What is supposed to go there? Empty space? Best would be a storage cupboard.
Then there is only one wall left for the door. I would also leave it there, because otherwise congestion could occur when going in and out in the stair corner. Bathtub under the slope, toilet too, shower and washbasin have to be where there is at least 2 meters of headroom. Washbasin preferably to the side of the window, so you have daylight when getting ready.
So there aren’t many options left.
Shower to the right of the door? (with room divider)
Or move the door and put the shower to the left of the door?
I would advise against further room dividers, I find the bathroom too small for that.
But maybe someone has a better idea?

Best regards

Hello, since the storage room is not particularly wide, I would place the shower without a window at the end of the storage room with access from the bathroom. If shelves are installed there, you can hardly walk past them anyway and will only have shadows cast from the daylight. I would place the bathtub and toilet against the knee wall and the washbasin to the left of the door, as viewed from the inside. I would install a towel radiator on the left between the shower and the door...
Best regards, Andy

Hello,

thank you very much for the suggestions. We actually like the idea of the shower in the niche, but we originally wanted to keep the corridor between the child’s room and the bathroom as an empty space to make the hallway a bit more open. Furthermore, the hallway has the window to supply it with daylight. I don't like skylights. Are there any other suggestions?

Have you ever thought about the exterior view because of the small window in the hallway? I personally would make the hallway very small, in favor of the rooms.

What does the floor plan on the ground floor look like? The arrangement of the stairs suggests a large hallway on the ground floor. ..
