Tiler costs based on hourly wage or per square meter price? How much does it roughly cost to have tiles laid? Do you go by hourly wage or per square meter?

Thanks for your tips / experiences!

Best regards

I would also be interested. Above all, do I get a better deal if I hire a provider from my region ([Sachsen]) myself or if I buy the house [schlüsselfertig]?

You have to find out what your construction company charged for the tiling. Mine included tiles, adhesive, and labor for €45 per sqm. €18 for tiles per sqm and €27 for labor and adhesive. I don't know how much the adhesive per sqm costs and what the tiler charges. I'm here in Sachsen-Anhalt, Magdeburg area. Maybe a tiler will be found

So 18€ per m2 tiles are included for us. But I will ask again today. 18€ for tiles is not really much anyway. You hardly have any choice. Maybe you can save a few euros if you look for a company yourself. I once looked up the hourly wage online. It is between 19 and 20 euros for a trained tiler.

Well, then it's exactly like with us, it's also 18€/sqm. You say the hourly wage is about 20€. Then that leaves 8€ / sqm for the tile adhesive? I have no idea about that, but I'll call around tile specialist companies.

I think you can save some money if you find a tiler yourself. Unless there is still some leeway in the construction contract and you can raise the price per m2 of the tiles a bit. My parents-in-law were able to negotiate the price up to €25 two years ago for their new build.
