Hello, I would have suspected problems at the spot between the floor and the wall, simply because the gap between the wall tile and the floor tile might not fit, too tight to get the floor tile underneath, too tight to get enough silicone in as moisture protection, too wide and too much silicone and an ugly wide joint... things like that.
That’s why it is installed under the kitchen sinks and behind the shower glass walls, right? I once had a thread here where I asked about skirting tiles, and there was an answer saying that they are also supposed to protect against moisture there.
This is purely a visual matter - the sealing itself must be done differently. You could do without any silicone in the shower - but it would look stupid.
