It's probably a matter of belief whether Biden or the wall comes first. For us, it was the walls first. Where do you see possible problems?

We erased most of it afterwards. However, the tiler had also said that it can be done beforehand. He would work neatly. In the rooms where we applied fleece to the wall, we did that before tiling so that the fleece disappears behind the baseboard and does not have to be cut off on top.

Hello, I would have suspected problems at the spot between the floor and the wall, simply because the gap between the wall tile and the floor tile might not fit, too tight to get the floor tile underneath, too tight to get enough silicone in as moisture protection, too wide and too much silicone and an ugly wide joint... things like that.

Silicone is not protection against moisture

That’s why it is installed under the kitchen sinks and behind the shower glass walls, right? I once had a thread here where I asked about skirting tiles, and there was an answer saying that they are also supposed to protect against moisture there.

This is purely a visual matter - the sealing itself must be done differently. You could do without any silicone in the shower - but it would look stupid.
