Notaries are also allowed to look into the land register, but a notary would of course never do something like that out of base motives... *cough*

Hello dear forum, we would like to breathe new life into this thread, as we have been intensively dealing with the topic of property search, initially privately and now also commercially. The trigger was the private desire to buy a building plot. However, the property search via agents and portals felt endless and led to considerable disillusionment. Just as described above, we eventually took the matter into our own hands, searched for undeveloped plots, approached municipalities and neighbors, and were finally successful. We have now had our plot notarized for almost 1 month. So: Don't give up, it will work out eventually :).

Strange, I thought you would use the company meingrundstück for that if you're already advertising it ;)

Hello WilderSueden, we found our property purely privately. Rightly, after a successful notarized signature, the idea arose to make our process accessible to others via [meingrundstück] and to further optimize it. However, this is definitely not necessary! With persistence and time, anyone can also search on their own.

I actually thought that a genuine purchase interest (if it can be made plausible) is quite sufficient for the land registry office. At least I think I have read something like that. I have no experience in this regard.
