The same kitchen is 1200 € cheaper in Poland

Hello forum,

I will soon buy a kitchen at Ikea (Abstract white). With dishwasher, stove, oven, and refrigerator, the kitchen will cost about €3400. The same kitchen costs €1200 less in Poland. That’s worth it, right? The only question is how the warranty works?

Does anyone know if you can claim the warranty in Germany for the kitchen and the electrical appliances from Poland?

Unfortunately, every purchase is only billed in the respective country. Also, vouchers from Germany are not valid in Holland, for example, and vice versa. Do you live near the Polish border? I am very fortunate that I can easily reach both the Dutch and the German branches. So I always compare the prices.

No, not really, but to save €1200, I would have gone anyway. Without a warranty, though, I'd rather leave it.

Is globalization still not that advanced - or the EU - or whoever is responsible.... too bad. well, it might still happen someday. since we all (almost) have the same money anyway.
