… (not) everyone knows ;)
Why non-gourmets should watch this: because of the houses, apartments, interior design, kitchen, workflow, etc.

Today:
new, nice individual details, unfortunately quite a cold atmosphere because all surfaces appear smooth. No wood, hardly any fabric. But great pictures on the walls :)
Overall, I find that improvised furnishings are simply more pleasant and cozier for me.

And you?

I claim (I have experienced myself the effort that goes into a TV show) that beforehand they carefully check where there is still a need for improvement for the "perfect" look and only then does the camera start rolling. The apartments probably look very different in everyday life. Of course, that doesn’t change the fact that it can look stylish and provide inspiration.

I agree with you about the Tatort shoot. As a former extra and location provider myself, I know a bit about that. But here it is almost authentic. (I also once knew a "cook" from our region) Due to backlighting, the windows are shaded, some stumbling hazards for the two cameramen are cleared away, personal pictures of course are removed, and music is not allowed either. Otherwise, there is no fuss around it. In that respect: enjoy and pick up on details :) (even if it’s just the distance between the kitchen island and the fridge ;))

I haven’t watched The Perfect Dinner for a long time ... but very often HGTV ;) .. Preferably "Sweet Home Chicago", "the House Stylists", "Flipping in Idaho" and also "My Small Town Dream House" ... partly great kitchens, almost always a cooktop on the wall with great extractor hood solutions, where you can ideally integrate powerful ceiling hoods and great sinks/preparation islands. Quite different from today’s stylish preferences of Bora, cooktop island and sink somewhere ;).

I also find HGTV interesting. Some preferences are indeed quite similar, but the "large" bathrooms wouldn't entice anyone here. Little storage space and old-fashioned :p

Ah, you mean the one today with the huge house … I just watched it too

Amazing these houses, we can all guess what that cost. And then she cooks well too.

For watching, I find it very great and perfect, but for owning I would rather have a Magnolia house, just with a different bathroom (-:
