Terrace decisions: sealing and substructure

Hello everyone,

we are currently getting the first offers for our terrace. It is to be a WPC terrace. Now we have to decide whether only a dimpled membrane should be installed on the house exterior wall or if a bitumen coating is also useful with the colored stone plaster. The second decision concerns the substructure: robinia or aluminum construction. Are there any experiences with this?

why do you want WPC? why not just gravel or leave the lawn?

The terrace is to be 4x7.5m. The plot is rectangular, 20x40m. We found WPC nice in terms of appearance and barefoot feeling.

we have it too, the second time already. Closed joints, so it looks like a ship's deck. The substructure is made of recycled crushed material, edge L-stones, grass grid stones, WPC beams doweled on top, and the boards fastened with stainless steel clips and screws. Nothing grows through, nothing disappears.
