Technical room in the attic, problems with soundproofing?

The principle of installations in a single-family house couldn't be simpler. Two separate air ducts (which are then branched to the required amount). Fresh air in, exhaust air out without any mixing occurring.

And how do you design such a system so that the air movement is not noticeably felt as a draft, and above all, that the system operates silently? I do not want a permanent noise source in either the sleeping or studio area. The operating noise of an iMac is the maximum of what is acceptable...

The iMac under load is *guaranteed* to be louder than the Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung. On the ground floor, we don't hear anything from the Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung during the day, upstairs a little, which becomes almost inaudible by turning it down (at night). Draft? No chance. I would still plan very carefully if the Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung is to go into the attic.

Everything is possible. There are formulas for that, and many manufacturers also have design software if you don't want to do it "manually".

Would you have some information about this external technical building? This is currently a consideration for us to avoid a small building extension. What minimum requirements must such a room have regarding frost protection, proximity to the house, etc.? In the attic we would have about 150cm height plus folding ladder, I can already hear the craftsman grumbling. Or rather, it won’t work at all.

Hi,

our technical room now borders directly on the house
(the initial plan still allowed for 1.5m distance from the house).

The wall will of course be insulated, but significantly less than the rest
of the house. The wall thickness is a total of 21 cm. The construction
is carried out as a timber frame with mineral wool insulation and plaster
(The north wall will be clad with facing bricks as it borders a pedestrian and cycle path)

I believe the regulation for water and electrical connections is "frost-free"
This could probably be done somewhat more simply if necessary.
