Technical room boundary construction, air source heat pump suction

Hello everyone,
we are currently in the house construction planning phase. The floor plan is set. Now we are planning the heating system. The question has arisen whether we should design the exhaust/blower of the air heat pump towards the neighbor. Please note, the technical room is on the border with the neighbor. Does anyone know if this is allowed?
Alternative: Are there also air heat pumps where the exhaust and blower do not operate around a corner, but are positioned one above the other in the same direction?

Directly at the border? Don’t you have to keep a distance of 3m from the neighboring property?

It is a matter of noise pollution, but the local situation must be examined.

But regarding the last question, heat pump not around the corner: That should not be allowed, as you risk a thermal short circuit, i.e., the intake sucks in the blown-out air again.

Just asking as a side question: would you like it if the neighbor aimed his blower into your garden?
