Hello everyone,
I have 2 Faktum corner base cabinets with pull-out fittings (FA 157). The lower drawers scrape the bottom and the side at the slightest load, the upper ones also tilt noticeably and scrape at the side. Allegedly, the drawers are supposed to hold 12kg - mine unfortunately do not. I looked at the display model in the Ikea store - unfortunately the exact same problem - so it’s not an assembly error.
1. Do you have the same problems with the drawers?
2. Is there a solution (other than installing floors)?
I think the problem lies in the fact that Ikea secures the drawer on one side only, other manufacturers secure the drawer with 2 telescopic arms - and have no problems, as this is significantly more stable.
Thanks for your experiences!
