I will ask our landscaping guy about it again. After the hint from , I also came across other possibilities for beautifying L-stones. There is so-called decorative concrete, which can apparently be simply applied to the L-stones. It looked very promising in the pictures. Definitely very good to know that there are ways to beautify the L-stones afterwards. I wouldn't have thought of the idea on my own.

Walls can also be tiled. I have attached an example photo from Portugal for inspiration. Of course, this also works with simpler patterns or textures and as a DIY project.

We are downstream on the slope and had to catch the higher lying property, it was planned by the architect and approved by the building authority.

And yes, they were significantly more expensive than the conventional L-brackets.
