sorry for the late reply. I don’t check my email account regularly. Everything went well for us. We had a retaining wall made of shuttering stones built, filled it up, and planted a hedge with a distance of 0.5m from the border. (I have attached a small picture of the construction process here). So far, our neighbor’s property has not been built on yet, so there can be no specific neighbor. ;-) If I remember correctly, your wall plus fence may not exceed a height of 1.5 meters if built directly on the border. Otherwise, for example, the fence must be built at least 0.5 meters from the border; the further away from the border you stay, the higher the fence can be. But please consult a specialist and don’t take my statement as gospel. I cannot guarantee it.
