Hello everyone,

I am in the initial phase of planning a 75 sqm bungalow without a basement. I have an offer for a KFW 40 house with an air-water heat pump Vaillant type aro Therm plus uni Tower plus VWL 105/6, a central ventilation system with heat recovery, and a 190-liter hot water tank. Additionally, there would be a photovoltaic system with 7.9 kWp and a battery storage of 5.24 kWh. The house is planned for me only, at most a second person. I work a lot from home and my comfortable temperature is 22-23 degrees. I would like a system that does not require much effort in terms of settings, etc. from me or anyone else ;-) Is the offer reasonable from your point of view, or does another heating system make more sense?

Best regards

So the heating system is way, way, way too big! And to enjoy it, you need a heating engineer who knows what they're doing, which is probably not the case here.

Save the money for an air-water heat pump and underfloor heating and go for an alternative system. Air-air heat pump + better insulation. Window glass heating. IR. That’s what I would do with such a small house.

thank you very much for your quick response. Then my gut feeling did not deceive me. Would the smallest device from the model series VWL 35/6 A with uniTOWER be more suitable?

I am very sure that even the 35 size is much too large for the Mini kfw40 house. We have the 75 size, which is twice as big, on 200m² and it is much too large for our house.

Hello , that is exactly my problem that I don't know which system would be a suitable alternative… The only certainty is that I need a photovoltaic system because of Ba-Wü. I have no experience with IR (infrared?). With an air-to-air heat pump, it could well be that I don't find the airflow pleasant. I already don't like it in the car when being blown on with warm air… But maybe my idea there is not realistic.
