Hello, I am certainly doing something wrong with the calculation of the fee regarding the HOAI calculator. What are the eligible costs and the surcharge? I am just a bit puzzled because the architect including the structural engineer presented a flat fee (an offer and not an explicit contract) (9,900 € gross) and since I know that the fee depends, among other things, on the total construction sum, but he didn’t directly ask how high this is, I am a bit surprised in hindsight. Design planning, building application, structural calculation, component fire protection verification, energy calculation and energy certificate according to the Energy Saving Ordinance 2016 (not an efficiency house), reinforcement plans for the following components: upper layer of the corner above the ground floor including lintel reinforcement, ring beam each including steel and bending lists, threefold duplication plus delivery of the building application plans, static and reinforcement plans including steel lists in digital form as PDF.

Why don't you have your architect explain the offer to you in detail? There should be enough time for that. HOAI is usually given as a "from"-"to" range. This way, your architect can explain exactly where he charges less and where he sees more effort/costs.

Here you should follow the recommendation of my previous poster and ask your architect for clarification. Should this then lead to a temporary collaboration, of course all discussion details should also be recorded in writing and in detail. Rhineland regards
