Can the structural engineer costs be stated or specified as a flat rate? Based on what values could the structural engineer costs be calculated? Who has experience with this?

Looking forward to your answers!

Hello,

You can roughly assume structural engineer costs to be between 2 and 12% of the construction sum. It depends on the scope of services.

That means if my house (without land) costs 200,000€, the structural engineer will cost between 4,000€ and 24,000€?

Hello,

I would like to have a semi-detached house built with a total of 2 garages each 30m², a basement 150m², ground floor 150m², upper floor 150m². During my first visit to an architect, I received an offer of €8000 for the architect and €4000 for the structural engineering. Which personally seems a bit high to me. I can't make sense of the HOAI tables and calculations. When values between 4000 and 24000 are given to me, that seems a bit too imprecise.

What do you think, is the price OK?

Hello, an architect is obliged to invoice according to HOAI. The fee depends on the construction costs of the building and of course, as already described, on the scope of services. Whether 8,000 EUR is a good offer cannot be said, as the construction costs and also the scope of services are not known. Regards

Hello,

can someone help here once again: We now have an offer including the structural engineer and submission of the building application amounting to €10,000 net. What surprises me is that the architect apparently offered this as a flat rate and did not ask how high the construction sum should be. If I want to build for €250,000, do you have rough estimates from your side on what I would have to pay at least here? Thanks for the help.
Regards
