So, we didn’t do a soil survey because our architect told us it wasn’t necessary and just money thrown away.
I wouldn’t phrase it that way. But as I wrote above, I now also consider the dynamic probing thing nonsense.
I would never build completely without a soil survey. That gives every botcher a free pass. Then anyone can say for any cracks or problems that occur: "not my fault, the ground is not stable."
