Stair lighting with LED strip

As already mentioned, classic misunderstanding. I think the wall will have to be worked on again. There will definitely be visible marks with the wall chase cutter. I can imagine that the least damage would be caused with a small angle grinder. First mark accordingly and carefully cut a slot. In the right hands, that could work. But probably no one will guarantee it. I don't see any other options. An outlet also doesn't allow for spots.

COB LED tape could work so that no individual dots are visible with a flat profile.

for our staircase, we would like to have the lighting in the wall as LED strips. Just like in the attached photo.

Does anyone happen to have this and can tell me how it is implemented or even have a recommendation for such lights?
