Then briefly about the heating: according to the OP, there are stoves present here that must be removed and disposed of, such things are expensive if you can even find someone to do it. An old farmhouse will hardly have a gas connection, therefore the only sensible option left is a heat pump, and not a small one in such an old house.
If there is no gas, you take oil and radiators.
Thanks Karsten
And since you are so burning interested. I built my heating system myself and it certainly didn’t cost 50,000 or 30,000, but the OP probably can’t do that with his question.
Actually he can’t, but since you mention it...
uh okaaaaay...?!
Pay less than 30k yourself and everyone else is supposed to pay 50k... I see.
I can only repeat myself and also confirm Nordlys’ opinion. With 60k you can definitely get very far.
Sure, if you have zero time, want a “Schöner Wohnen” (i.e. magazine-style) house, can’t do anything yourself and want to move in quickly, then 60k won’t be enough.
But if you take your time, plan the project well and don’t just accept the first best price from “specialist companies,” don’t let yourself be stressed, get hands-on yourself and enjoy it, then 60k will take you very far.
I mean, it’s not like carpenters come to the window/door installation with machines worth 200k, drywallers with a wall-setting machine for 150k, floor layers with a parquet machine for 200k, electricians with a cable laying machine for 150k, etc...
They all do their job through expertise and muscle power.
Both of those you can partially acquire yourself in such a project. Especially if you are a craftsman anyway. (It’s not like a carpenter studies for 3 years how to install a window. They watch 5 times, help out and then can do it themselves. Especially with old houses.)
Sure, that costs time and the result is not always perfect... But you save real money, learned something and hopefully had a lot of fun!
The result can then be a very beautiful house with charm and style.
