Every stone / wall construction has – solely because they differ in some properties – pros and cons, of which a majority are at least apparently objective, comprehensible, and partly significant arguments. On balance, however, it unfortunately remains:

If someone argues with hazardous waste, you should mentally switch off already.
No, if he argues, then not.
My mantra, as in all posts on this topic, is: "if you have found out that with company X ‘the chemistry matches’, but they routinely build with stone A, then don't let them practice on your house how they handle stone B". Of course, you can also filter by who prefers the stone / wall construction with the best datasheet values. But for this criterion you should give fewer points than for "does the owner give the impression of a serious livestock trader". Use the advantage that with regional suppliers your visits to concrete reference builders are short. Pay most attention to the statements of comparable reference builders (age and income group as well as family situation roughly matching yours) and select those who have built according to today's standards (> 2014) and those for which defects would already show due to the age of the building.
