Smell from silicate paint on wallpaper

But still, nothing can stink there. That is what makes the silicate paint, it has no organic components and no solvents.

Exactly, so we specifically chose the silicate paint because of the walls that were mineral plastered. However, the ceiling was not plastered but wallpapered. The painter used the silicate paint for the entire room. The smell is strongest from the part of the wall that was not plastered (the part behind the kitchen and not visible). The ceiling also emits the same smell, but not as strongly.

Do you possibly have an idea how to get the smell under control without redoing everything? I read something about ozone treatment.
