I believe it has not become entirely clear what I want.

It is not about the energy supplier providing me with a meter and me then accessing my consumption data via their web interface. Rather, it is about me and only ME being able to access my consumption data by accessing a consumption meter installed in my house via LAN.

In the meantime, I have already found some suitable devices that can do this – however, their prices are in ranges that I consider inappropriate – so for now, I have put the topic aside again.

I do not know how linking is handled here in the forum – if anyone is interested in my research, feel free to email me, and I will provide my results.

Hi,

I believe it was clear to most what you wanted. Unfortunately, we just jumped back a few levels to generally question the topic (sorry for that). I have seen a few electricity meters from different companies that had LAN connections (e.g., Siemens). These cost >2500€. Generally, it was still planned 3 years ago to equip devices with radio technology, which could also be in line with your idea. For the devices we used in research, the manufacturer provided descriptions of the accessible interfaces to retrieve the data. A suitable counterpart (client) had to be created by us ourselves. Unfortunately, I do not know to what extent this has already entered the consumer market, but some electricity providers planned to sell complete packages that also included the functionality you wanted.
