Hello everyone,

In our new build, I decided on the system from our heating manufacturer (Kermi) and am currently installing EnOcean components (which can’t be changed now since the components have been at home for a long time). I actually like the EnOcean protocol very much, but now, because I’ve read a bit into the smart home topic and have seen a lot on Instagram and Pinterest, for example Ikea Tradfri alongside Philips Hue and a Doorbird as well. There is already a Sonos system too. Now the question for me is how do I get all of this to work together. The plan is to have a tablet as a door control center anyway to access Doorbird, which is now implemented via Tasker and Fully Kiosk. But how do I integrate SONOS, Hue, and EnOcean into one system?

Should I use FHEM? What alternatives are there? How do I connect my EnOcean components to Alexa? KNX was never an option due to cost, but in hindsight, I also find Homematic IP quite interesting.

Thanks!

Best regards

I use IP Symcon. Absolutely powerful.
So far, I have integrated Philips Hue, Sonos, SMA inverter, Denon AVR, and door camera and linked them with KNX. I am just scratching the surface, but can basically highly recommend it.

Somfy supports enocean, for example, I have installed 4 radio actuators that I control via Somfy. It supports almost everything from Zigbee, IQ, Z-Wave, Apple HomeKit, etc., for scenarios, if-then functions, calendar, etc. controlled via Somfy.

Symcon is really expensive though, right? It costs 100€/year?

Do you have the Tahoma or how do you run it?

Exactly the Tahoma Box. What I set up recently, for example, is that I say "raise the blinds" to Google Assistant and IFTTT, but it's just a toy.

That wouldn't be so important to me now either. More important for me would be the light because we are both always too lazy to get up from the couch and turn off the light.

Currently, I have IKEA Tradfri GU10 installed, but I might want to switch to a Hue flush-mounted actuator.
