These are the specifications as in the development plan, then it depends on what the municipality says, a shed roof is not allowed as far as I can see.

Does a gable roof have to be symmetrical? I meant an extension of the roof.

Then it will already be a bit tight at the front upstairs, I'm afraid. What I have found is the following, but I am unable to judge whether it helps.

As a layperson, I have looked at the complete documents again. The height cited (5.85m) from the rejection comes from the setback plan – is this decisive for it? A maximum wall height of 5.5m is allowed. In my lay opinion, the wall height of the extension is not higher than that of the existing building (5.30m) unless the embankment, base slab, etc. are also included. Of course, something like this happens on a Friday :-( I know I am not getting legal advice here, but maybe someone else has had similar experiences...

My less laymanlike eye notices that in the "northeast" drawing there is a change in height, which suggests non-original terrain in the depiction; height limits usually refer to the natural terrain (exceptions are rare, but I have seen this in BaWü).

Unfortunately, I do not understand that, I am not an expert, only my way of thinking does not see the problem. I hope it can be resolved somehow, whatever the case. I will report...
