As a layperson, I have looked at the complete documents again. The height cited (5.85m) from the rejection comes from the setback plan – is this decisive for it? A maximum wall height of 5.5m is allowed. My less laymanlike eye notices that in the "northeast" drawing there is a change in height, which suggests non-original terrain in the depiction; height limits usually refer to the natural terrain (exceptions are rare, but I have seen this in BaWü).
