Hello, so far we actually have a good indoor climate on the upper floor, the walls were plastered in 1977, I think it is a lime or gypsum plaster; so a mineral plaster. As part of a major renovation, my painter now suggests filling all the walls with Orruzell Haftspachtel 2000.
It says on the packaging: "White filler based on natural gypsum with synthetic resin, methylcellulose and cellulose fibers. Data sheets can be found via Google.
In some places he applied a sample for me. Visually, of course, it is a great thing, much smoother than the old wall and if I wallpaper again, the wallpaper will probably come off more easily.
However, I have concerns about whether the wall can still breathe and store moisture. I don't want to spoil the indoor climate.
Unfortunately, I can't find an SD value for the product. What is your opinion?
