The carport will barely be usable. If you want to pass the car with a stroller, it will be tight. The visitor, mail carrier, postman – everyone has to first walk around the corner to get to the front door, which I personally find unfortunate. Can't you place the driveway towards the north and enter from the east? Or do you have to drive into the property from the southwest?

Are you not allowed to build further back if the sun only comes from the front? North?

To be honest: No!

Yes, I could build further to the back, but even if I place the garage at the back, I run into problems with the driveway.

I am open to good ideas.

Just checked the building regulations again. No, we are not allowed to build further back. It says that the house should be as close as possible to the front house.

I'll leave all structural engineering matters aside. Just going by gut feeling. I also don't really like the bathroom situation on the upper floor (at least not in my view). Isn't it possible to change the future children's area and actually build a children's bathroom there? Otherwise, I would definitely forget the bathroom-bedroom door and put up a wall there. I think it becomes difficult at a certain age of the future(?) children. Parents and children then also want privacy, and that's not possible like this for anyone.
