Well, you have only considered windows with relatively high sills in the cooking area anyway.

Living instead of cooking .. means glare-free TV and a quiet corner and for the more public area terrace/kitchen/dining the better fitting walkways etc.

When does one usually sit in the living area .. in the evening .. possibly also during the day on weekends. The living area would then be from northeast to southeast, which would usually also ensure a glare-free TV.

Well, one can only suggest to think intensively about the usual room usages etc.

Well: you are the ones who drive or walk to the house every day :) But it is certainly your decision.

So, I would like to speak up here once again, as quite a bit has happened in the past few weeks.

We are allowed to plan the garage at that location.

I have attached a revised floor plan here once again and incorporated a few points from previous comments:
- Adjustment of the stairs to allow more space when "ascending" on the upper floor
- Adjustment of the window distances to allow placement of cabinets or similar (this is not yet finalized in the bedroom)
- Arrangement of the sanitary fixtures, even though this is not yet completely final (for example, the toilet will still be moved, etc.): The drainage has been approved by the architect
- ...

Of course, I am open to further comments.
