As they say in my old homeland (grammatically not entirely correct): A lot of water has still flowed down the Rhine until then (August 2022). If you want to build and it fits now, then sign. The notes on the topic of price guarantee have already been given here, but if you only sign in a year, it certainly won't be cheaper than a price agreed today and then adjusted accordingly.

When I was still employed, my boss used to say: "Waiting costs money!". This is not a specific recommendation for your contract, but a good basis for decision-making. Looking at just the past 10 years, this sentence has fully proven its validity, especially in the real estate/construction sector. Of course, everything should be recorded in a way that limits the cost risk. But don't believe that the situation will have relaxed enough in 2022 ff. for waiting to have been worthwhile!
