Hello pros ;)

We have now completed the shell construction with a lot, lot of effort & sweat, currently we have spent €120,000 (two floors; 15x6m dimensions) including roof and windows - overall we want to end up at €200,000 (it will be tight, I know)

As a self-builder, of course, you always have the problem that you can poorly plan the costs. So now here is my question, which items with approx. costs are still coming my way? I'm just going to write down what I currently have in mind including my estimated costs and I hope you correct/complete me :-)

[*]Plaster; offer of €10,000 for inside and outside is available
[*]Screed; offer of €4,000 is available
[*]Floor coverings including tiles for the bathrooms estimated 12,000€
[*]Doors and frames (six pieces and two special sizes) estimated 2,500€
    [*]Kitchen; approx. 5,000€
[*]Electricity materials only; father-in-law will do the rest 2,500€
[*]Bathroom and kitchen fixtures, ceramics etc. 5,000€
    [*]Drywall ceiling covering (120m²) 1,000€
    [*]Interior and exterior paint €1,000
[*]Stairs (2 x steel stringers and wooden steps) 4,000€

When I add this up now, I come to just under €50,000 for the interior finishing; that seems very little to me? What have I forgotten, where am I way too low with my price expectations?
So far, many thanks :D

Of course it still exists. You obviously have to make compromises. Our current kitchen came about 5 years ago at the furniture discounter on offer for around 2000€ including stove, ceramic hob and dishwasher (all no-name) and of course including assembly. So of course it doesn’t include door dampers, corner carousel, pull-out trash bins, or similar. We still like it today.

Since the kitchen is still in very good condition, we wanted to take it into the house first. Since up to now we only had a built-in cupboard for storage and now the chimney in the corner is also gone, we wanted to add a tall cabinet and a corner carousel to the kitchen and renew the countertop and the finishing strips at the top and bottom. That would cost us as much again as the entire kitchen including appliances. :(

But even then we would be under 5000€.

So there are still signs and wonders :-)! The idea is not bad, although I like it better when the drawers close "softly"...!

Heating is already included or an offer of €18,000 is available :-) regarding the kitchen; of course €5,000 is enough – they’re not really cooks anyway and are happy with white lacquered fronts :-)
