Sewage costs - I am somewhat stunned

I have a question about wastewater connection costs. Today we received two invoices - one for the transfer shaft on the property for €835 - absolutely okay. And another one for €3300, of which we have to pay €2800 for the wastewater connection on the street. The municipality had told us something about around €1500, so I am now a bit confused. I will call the municipality tomorrow...

Just read it a bit more carefully... so in total it should be €3600. €835 of that for the sewage pipe on our property. The most outrageous item is the construction site setup with €990 -.- I almost assume that we really can't do anything about it ...

Joking aside, as long as the municipality hasn't made a mistake you have to bear it. Especially with water/wastewater connections a municipality can also run into trouble

No no - that is the direct cost pass-through of the executing craftsman. I do not assume that they are colluding there...
