Sell the apartment and build a house? What do you think?

Why? So, we now have around 80k per year. We have gotten used to that. Pension means then that it's around 50. Ok. The 80 is gross, quite a bit of tax is deducted. With 50, fewer deductions. Still, I don't want to pay off more then, because we have to get used to less anyway.

I am referring to the MUST! What everyone does for themselves is up to them. My husband, for example, will have more than now. What do you think, what the automotive industry pays as additional pension?! In this respect, I have no problem with us then paying 300€ and a cookie. For the self-employed, it's quite different: many work until 70 or so... so why not take this age into account. Or pensioners... I have the feeling that many think you MUST be done by then, as the quote above also shows.

That sounds great for you, but some of us will probably HAVE to expect deductions. Us too. I therefore also refer the HAVE to the fact that simply less is available when retirement starts. If then 3-400-something EUR is on the table, I’m with you. But not with a rate of 1,800 or something in that order of magnitude. Even if the claims will probably be lower then (if you can always trust all pensioners...) Anyway, I can put it another way: The biggest chunk has to be consumed by retirement age – for ME! I don’t want to have to restrict myself too much. The main message from earlier remains: building has nothing to do with age ;)
