Hello
During the planning of the last details of the kitchen, we came across the fact that with the exhaust flap we are once again making a real hole in our lovingly sealed construction.
While googling, I came across 2 systems that have flaps that open and close automatically.
The Berbel BMK L 150 with electric motor and the Flow Star from Naber with mechanical guidance via the pressure of the hood.
However, the installation depths are very deep, so I have now ordered a Naber box to check whether it can be adapted accordingly.

Does anyone have experience with such systems? Or has anyone ever installed one? Maybe someone can neutrally assess how much the exhaust hole in the wall actually affects the system during idle operation.
The boxes are not exactly cheap.

On our homepage, I have compiled what I have found out so far.
